Clinical rotations
Cardiac Care & Vascular medicine offers rotations for medical students and physicians who have a desire to acquire clinical experience in Bronx, New York, USA. Our community is an ethnically diverse population with a wide array of healthcare issues that will expose new practitioners to a broad spectrum of health conditions.
Our students have reported a great experience. We provide the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in the general field of medicine and cardiology in particular. While the experience is focused on improving the students’ clinical knowledge and skills, clinical research is encouraged and supported during the rotation and beyond.

I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Maria, and I am reaching out on behalf of the Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud (FUCS), a higher education institution located in Bogotá, Colombia. FUCS offers a wide range of academic programs, with a strong emphasis on medical education and clinical training.
I would like to inquire whether your institution offers opportunities for international clinical rotations for final-year medical students (internship year). We are particularly interested in learning more about the requirements, available specialties, and application procedures for such rotations.
We believe that fostering academic exchange and clinical experience abroad greatly benefits our students, and we would be delighted to explore potential collaboration with your institution.
Thank you very much for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Dear Dr. Nanna,
On behalf of all of us who had the privilege to rotate at Cardiac Care & Vascular Medicine this past June, thank you for your kind words and warm acknowledgment.
It was truly an honor to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate team. Your mentorship and the supportive environment you foster have made a lasting impression on each of us. The experience not only enriched our clinical skills but also deepened our understanding of what it means to provide truly patient-centered cardiovascular care.
We are grateful for the opportunity and will carry the lessons learned with us throughout our careers. Thank you once again for welcoming us so graciously into the CCVM family.
Warm regards,
Dr. Sundeep
Thank you so much. It was a real pleasure to be here and learn from such dedicated professionals.
Dr. Nanna is more than a doctor—he is a kind and thoughtful person who truly knows how to care for patients and make the best decisions for their well-being. His mix of knowledge and compassion is truly admirable.
I also want to thank Dr. Laura Romero. She is an excellent doctor with a strong passion for learning and a deep commitment to her work. Her clear guidance and support really helped me during this experience.
Overall, this has been a valuable and inspiring experience. I’m very thankful for the warm welcome and the chance to be part of such a supportive environment.
Thank you all.
Thank you Dr. Nanna, Dr. Romero, Ms. Nanna, Melissa, and Gladys for your support throughout the rotations! Through active involvement in patient care, evidence-based medicine, and preventive medicine, we learned to see each patient as a whole, provide the best possible care, and effectively communicate our thoughts with other practitioners. We gained so much not only from your valuable teaching and feedback but also from your wholehearted dedication to patient care. Thank you again, and best wishes to you all! 🙏🤞
It was truly our pleasure! This was my first clinical rotation in the U.S., and it was an incredibly enriching experience. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone and, most importantly, developing a deep appreciation for the preventive and evidence-based medicine practiced in the clinic. Dr. Nanna and Dr. Romero were exceptionally patient and supportive, guiding us with compassion and helping us grow into the best versions of ourselves through their mentorship.
Thank you and forever grateful for the experience! 🥹❤️
